For the second consecutive year, I am pleased to announce that Tuscana Resort has been selected for the 2012 Best of Davenport Award in the Hotels & Motels category by the US Commerce Association (USCA).
Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4%) 2012 Award recipients qualified as Two-Time Award Winners. Girls just want to have fun, build, and LEGOLAND® Florida is introducing a great way to bring it all together -- LEGO® Friends Weekend on March 24 and 25th, 2012.
The newly introduced LEGO® Friends - Olivia, Andrea, Stephanie, Emma and Mia - will be at LEGOLAND® Florida to host a weekend of fabulous fun geared to girls. A first-ever event, LEGO Friends Weekend is a daytime party that includes a LEGO Friends building event, live entertainment, games and activities. This event celebrates girls and their personal individuality, just like the LEGO Group’s newest line of construction toys.
Event details include:Olivia’s Girls Just Wanna BuildGirls can get empowered and inspired to build masterful LEGO creations with an opportunity to meet Master Model Builder, Adora. Once the building bug has taken hold, girls (and boys!) can build a portion of a Heartlake City LEGO model.
Andrea’s Heartlake CaféThe Market Restaurant will be transformed into the iconic Heartlake Café. In front of the restaurant guests will be able to sing their heart out with a karaoke performance.
Stephanie’s Lakeside PartyGuests will be able to dance till dusk at the end-of-day LEGO Friends dance party.

Coming up in the next month, 4 new adventures will be added to an exciting theme park in Florida. This is some exciting news for theme park lovers and new visitors to the Orlando area. We here at Tuscana Resort and definitely excited!
EcoSafaris at Forever Florida is a 4700 acre eco-ranch and wildlife conservation area encompasses nine distinct ecosystems, beautifully preserved just as nature intended.
The adventures include;
1. Rattlesnake Zipline Roller Coaster, which will have riders gliding along a rigid rail that winds through the trees, starting at a height of 65 feet.
2. Peregrine Plunge, a straightaway zip that's 1,300 feet long, running over conservations lands. It's named for the Peregrine falcon, which dives into the distance for its prey. Pregrine Plunge will have two side-by-side lines.
3. Panther Pounce, a 68-foot tower that folks will step off into a "safely controlled rapid descent" to the ground.
4. Swooping Crane, an extreme swing where guests are released from 55 feet into a swooping back and forth motion over the brush.
EcoSafaris at Forever Florida will be officially launch a new EcoPark Admission Ticket on April 6th. One ticket will get you access to the Zipline Safari, Cypress Canopy Cycle and the 4 brand new adventures! An EcoPark Admission Ticket grants access to all six attractions for $135 for ages 10 and older.

To apply all you need to do is visit the Facebook contest page of Tuscana Resort and add a photograph of you with you lego or a picture of you at any of the Legoland Parks around the world.
Tell us a a bit about the park you visited or if your picture is of a Lego model you or some of your family created then tell us about it. Who they are, what they made and their age.
You can share your entry with your friends and ask them to vote for you. Winners of the Legoland tickets will be selected by a combination of our Facebook friends and staff at Tuscana Resort. The competition runs until April 15th so it gives you plenty of time to dig out those photographs and get uploading.
